Due to the handmade character of this product, handwashing is best.
The jug is made on the potter's wheel using a dark textural stoneware clay fired to 1280C. The surface of the clay has been stamped and textured by hand to produce the rustic and textured surface. The subtle white shino glaze was freely applied to give an uncontrolled and random character to the jug.
